Visa-Free Entry to Vietnam
Vietnam offers visa-free entry to citizens of several countries for short-term visits. The duration of visa exemption varies depending on your nationality:
Visa-Free for up to 90 Days
Chile, Panama
Visa-Free for up to 45 Days
France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Belarus, Czech Republic, Poland and Mongolia
Visa-Free for up to 30 Days
Cambodia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand
Visa-Free for up to 21 Days
Philippines
Visa-Free for up to 14 Days
Brunei, Myanmar
Note: These exemptions apply to tourist and short business visits. Please, we encourage you to confirm your eligibility, reason for the visit and exact duration of stay based on your nationality via official Vietnamese immigration sources before your travel.
Visa Options for Other Participants
Participants who are not eligible for visa exemption are advised to apply for a Vietnam e-Visa, which is available to citizens of over 80 countries.
Foreigners who are citizens of countries that are unilaterally exempted from visas by VietNam when entering VietNam will be granted a 45-day temporary residence certificate (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/168ry8oB23sVTCm5OaWCWAyPujfHOugr6?usp=drive_link) Foreigners exempted from visas under international treaties to which Viet Nam is a party will be granted a temporary stay period according to the provisions of the international treaty. If the international treaty does not stipulate a temporary stay period, a 30-day temporary residence period will be granted.

Additionally, ICFA 2025 organizers will provide an Official Invitation Letter to facilitate your application for a Business Visa (DN category). If you are willing to attend the Field Tour, it’s a must to have a Business Visa (DN).
